Artist Statement

My figurative work is an exploration of the quiet, internal personal landscapes that often go unnoticed. Working primarily in oil on canvas, I am drawn to people who hold a hidden narrative—capturing those subtle, fleeting emotions that linger just beneath the surface. Expressions that convey feelings known only to the person themself. Things that are not said, but held internally.

I'm exploring work in acrylic as well which has transported me into a new space. I love the aspect of acrylic with its transparency and ability to create a gossamer feeling.

After studying at Alfred University College of Art and Ceramics , I studied in Florence at the Academia Del Arte. I've lived and painted in Singapore, Germany, Switzerland and London.
