Artist Statement

My work is varied in subject matter. I paint portraits, self-portraits, city scenes( often with figures), water scenes, street musicians, and birds. I paint landscapes occasionally. I have painted scenes in the US Northwest, New York, Africa, and several countries in Europe.

My favorite medium is oil currently. I have paintings from the past in acrylic and watercolor.
