Artist Statement

My existence depends on creating art. I find myself painting in my dreams. I’m always thinking about what I want to create at the soonest opportunity, constantly looking for that next story to put on canvas. My references most always include people and/or animals and come from personal experiences that are such a joy to relive as I paint my way thru life. The best is to capture a moment in everyday life and feel that excitement while I recreate the story of the experience on canvas. My technique is more modernistic with abstract backgrounds and under paintings that show thru to the finished piece. I love to share my joy of life thru my art. My goal in life is to use my art to bring smiles to people?s faces and to create better lives for all God’s creatures, using my art as a tool.
