Artist Statement

The mind and nature both have an element of chaos that I find incredibly captivating. From intricate textures of redwood trees to the delicate structures of an animal skull, I pull inspiration from nature in my artwork. But the human mind wanders and imagination is wild, so I am just as influenced by how the brain works and how mental health affects how I perceive the world. Even though my paintings and sculptures are a little whimsical, they have a touch of macabre. My artwork is an invitation to be introspective and embrace any discomfort you may find.
