Artist Statement

Jennifer Peart paints visionary landscape paintings, contemporary landscapes that merge natural environments with architectural and graphic elements. Inspired by modern design and retro science fiction, she envisions landscapes restored to their full vitality, reflecting themes of reciprocity and stewardship. She calls them visionary because she works to envision better futures for our planet.

She primarily uses acrylic on sustainably harvested wood panels, occasionally incorporating oil, ink, and gouache, with sizes ranging from 8x10 to 48x60 inches. Prices range from $400 for framed 9x12 inch paintings to $8,750 for framed 48x60 inch paintings. Limited-edition, hand-embellished prints are between $100 to $250.

Her technique blends traditional landscape painting with modernist structures, employing unconventional color palettes, texture variations, and spatial inversions to push beyond standard depictions of nature. Each composition serves as a portal into a future where the land flourishes through our shared responsibility and care.
