Artist Statement

I love creating art to honor Mother Earth’s beauty by painting landscapes in a variety of expressive colors in abstract realism. My love for all animals, especially those that are endangered or abused/abandoned. I will create them with personalities to honor them as the beautiful creatures they are. I love creating healing art also, by using animals as my muse, and how I identify with them from their characteristics. I have a disability so painting can temporarily transport me to a place outside time and outside space where I can forget about my pain for a few hours. I use bold, bright colors to express the energy of the piece.
