Artist Statement

One Blue Day is a meditation on stillness, memory, and the quiet poetry of ordinary moments. Using cyanotype, a process rooted in sunlight and time, these works capture fleeting natural forms—petals, stems, and familiar silhouettes—while transforming them into luminous blue impressions. The color blue becomes both subject and atmosphere: calm, reflective, and gently emotional, suggesting a pause in the rush of daily life.

One Blue Day offers a space for quiet reflection, where viewers are invited to linger, breathe, and reconnect with the gentle rhythms of nature. These works honor simplicity, impermanence, and the subtle emotional weight carried by a single day held in blue.
