Artist Statement

My sculpture reproduces the everyday fabric objects, such as washcloths, sock and terry cloth, utilizing the illusionistic possibilities inherent in clay as a medium. Mine is a voyage of intimate exploration into subliminal form shared by both clay and fabric: the fold.
