Artist Statement

Art is a quest to satisfy creativity.I vary my medium and process in order to solve the problem my creativity confronts me with. Painting is my primary medium because it not only requires learning and discipline but because it leads me to other paths of expression like sculpture and writing. It requires me to understand ideas,form, structure, color, materials, process, and emotions.
