Artist Statement
My work explores the disconnection between the human spiritual world and physical reality, reflecting cycles of fracture, endurance, and renewal. Through layered mixed-media works incorporating film, metal, watercolor, and laser-cut acrylic, I examine moments of rupture—where systems fail, surfaces break, and underlying truths begin to emerge.
In my Matrix series, reality appears unstable, as if the illusionary structures we inhabit are dissolving. Glitches function as fractures within this system—cities collapse, light fractures, and figures flee—not only from visible disaster, but from confinement within artificial orders. Yet within these breaks, possibilities for repair and awakening arise, as the human spirit surfaces through disruption.
Inspired by collective experiences of crisis, displacement, and inner turmoil, my work reflects on how individuals and communities navigate harm and seek renewal. By holding space for both vulnerability and resilience, I aim to invite viewers to recognize fracture not only as damage, but as a threshold—one that opens toward empathy, healing, and reconnection with inner spiritual potential.
