Artist Statement

I am a semi-abstract and abstract artist who works with paint and mixed media. My background in fashion, interiors, floral design, and the landscapes that surround me inspire my work.

My art is evolving. I begin my creative process intuitively and playfully, without a predetermined plan. I allow the paint and my emotions to guide me, exploring color combinations, composition, or the human figure. I incorporate texture, photo transfer, collage, or letters into my work. As I progress, my intentions become clearer, and my marks become more deliberate, interacting with the intuitive layer beneath. My process involves a dynamic dialogue between the intentional and unplanned marks, the interplay of colors, shapes, and my responses to the paint.

I believe that the connection between the viewer and art can be a profound and transformative experience.
