Artist Statement

Artist Statement:
I have always been visually fascinated by the patterns, textures and colors found in nature. ...whether it is the wing of bee or a breathtaking vista that I find while gardening, hiking or travelling. To me these moments provide the opportunity to experience the beauty in the moment and appreciate the impermanence of the environment. It is my goal to memorialize the color and energy I find. I attempt to extract the energy by creating an entirely new entity or being that represents the experience.
