Artist Statement

I am a full-time artist working in both commercial and fine art. My practice spans hand-lettered sign creation for Harmons Grocery and figurative/portrait painting grounded in themes of pop culture, typography, and kitsch. My work explores the human experience as recorded on the body and face, the therapeutic role of humor during hardship, and how digital media has reshaped identity and connection.
In all my work, I aim to create pieces that are accessible, beautiful, emotionally engaging, and unafraid to challenge or amuse. I believe in the value of play, self-reflection, and joy in the creative process.
