Artist Statement

My work begins where most people stop looking — in the shadows on a sidewalk, the curve of a leaf, the angles of a building at sunset. I carry those inspirations back to my studio and rebuild my interpretation of them on wood panels through bold color, layered shapes, and deliberate geometric form. The result is what I call ordered chaos: structured yet alive, abstract yet grounded in the real world around us.

At the heart of everything I create is a belief that beauty and complexity are hiding in plain sight — and that art is the best reason to finally stop and see it.
