Chris Bordenca

Artist Statement

Chris Bordenca is a painter from Belchertown, MA. His work focuses on a personal connection to objects and places from his youth in the seventies and eighties including paintings of action figures, toys, and video games from the era. After a ten year hiatus he returned to painting mid 2018. Since then Chris has shown his work around New England. He was Amherst Public Art Commission’s featured artist for Nov/Dec 2020. Chris is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst who lives with his family in Belchertown, MA.
