Artist Statement

My mixed media paintings are a synthesis of collage, acrylic paint, and acrylic pens, creating layered compositions that reflect how I perceive the world—through a lens where reality and imagination converge. Animals, nature, iconic imagery, and rich textures emerge organically within my expressive and often whimsical work.
Each piece represents an exciting journey that begins with a loose conceptual framework, but ultimately surrenders to the materials themselves. The paint and paper become collaborators, guiding me toward unexpected discoveries and visual narratives I could not have anticipated. This intuitive process of creation, where control gives way to spontaneity, is central to my artistic practice and results in work that celebrates both intention and serendipity.
