Lynn Heinz

Artist Statement

--Lynn Heinz is a figurative artist living and working in Los Angeles. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA. Her work has been included in shows at Coastline Community College, Lancaster Museum of Art and History/Cedar, Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, and The Brand Library.
--Growing up, I felt adrift in a world full of vague or incorrect information, platitudes, and isolation. In this body of work, I explore the anxiety, rage, and confusion of young women and girls as they navigate the process of maturing in a world bereft of the guidance and wisdom of elders.
