Artist Statement

I have just created a new fine art collection of printing my photographs of beaches on natural pine wood.
The grain and knots of the wood become part of the image and enhances the texture and depth of the image.
The wood grain in the sky area becomes the clouds and the wood grain in the sand area creates ripples in the sand.
