Artist Statement

Painting with an attitude starts with the subject Mangroves and abstracts the images and creates a whole new appearance. I have been painting mangroves since 1995. I use birch wood and apply paint and remove with q tips. The images go as far as allowing Figures to intertwine as a finished painting
