Artist Statement

As a new sculptor, I am drawn to the conversation between clay and the natural world—materials shaped by earth, water, time, and touch. Driftwood arrives with a history written by currents and weather, while clay records every mark of the hand. Together they become vessels for stories that are often overlooked.

My work explores what exists at the edges of our attention: the people, experiences, and injustices we pass by without truly seeing. Through quiet narratives, I invite viewers to slow down, look closer, and consider what may be hidden beneath the surface.

Each sculpture is an act of noticing—a reminder that what appears discarded, invisible, or ordinary may hold profound beauty, resilience, and meaning.
