Artist Statement

My art derives around the exploration of chance, mark making, color, layers, and forms. Through my creative process, I embrace the unpredictable nature of chance as a catalyst for my artistic expressionI believe that by relinquishing control and embracing spontaneity, I am able to tap into a realm of artistic discovery that transcends preconceived notions and expectations.

Mark making is at the core of my artistic vocabulary. I am intrigued by the raw and instinctive nature of mark and their ability to convey emotions, thoughts, and narratives. By utilizing a variety of tools, such as brushes, pens, and even unconventional materials, I seek to capture the essence of the moment, translating my innermost thoughts onto the canvas. Each mark becomes a visual language, a personal signature that weaves together the threads of my artistic journey.

Color is a powerful tool in my creative practice. It can evoke profound emotions and stir the depths of the human psyche. I approach color with a sense of intention and sensitivity.
