My charcoal portraits of Marian Anderson were created in 2020 inspired by my desire to step deeper into the history of segregation & the Civil Rights Movement. Learning about Marian Anderson's bravery, phenomenal gifted voice and leadership to break racial barriers and unite our country, deeply moved my spirit to honor her memory,
