Artist Statement

For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to paint.
I took DVC classes in watercolor, acrylic painting, figure drawing and printmaking.
After that, I transferred to UC Berkeley, and enjoyed the classes such as lithographs, oil painting and ceramics.
Since graduating from UCB, I paint in my studio. With pattern-painting, I express my inner self-portrait and convey my feeling, thought, and emotions during my life journey.
