Artist Statement

I enjoy paintings the most where I try to catch joy or delight from a scene in a painting. Determination and resignation also bring me to the studio. I believe that just the right painting might resonate with the viewer and help move him or her toward their own joys and passions. Making a painting come alive in this way is my main objective.
