Artist Statement

A lifelong artist, I began private art lessons as a child and pursued art into adulthood as I earned a Masters degree in The Arts and Education from Wm.Paterson University. My art was put on hold while raising a family and teaching elementary education, but upon retirement I have been able to focus on my early passion. Classes in photography, printmaking and &watercolor, mostly from Princeton Arts Council, have led to juried selection at over 20 local shows, 2 solo shows,virtual international shows,as well as sales of my printmaking and watercolors at Princeton Pro Musica's fundraising events, Garden State Watercolor Society art galleries, commissioned works, and private sales. I love to combine my love of photography and art by creating works based on my photographic compositions.
