Kathy Triolo

Artist Statement

Kathy Triolo is a Nevada City based photographer and digital artist. She is retired as a Marriage and Family Therapist and is happily immersed in photography and fine art.
For Kathy, the world of photography meets the realm of fine art. As a passionate photographer, she uses the power of Photoshop to transform ordinary images into painterly creations, sometimes otherworldly with a touch of Artificial Intelligence.
She is the 2018 winner of the Golden Bear, Best in Photography, California State Fair in Photography.
Her photography has been accepted to the PBS KVIE Art Auction every year since 2020 and her work has been featured in multiple calendars, Bodie, Mono Lake, Sutter Buttes on a regular basis. Kathy frequently teaches workshops about Photoshop, Creativity and the use of AI in Photography.

She is a Photographer for the Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Nevada County 2023-6.
