Artist Statement

We are a small group of artists who love music and art and wanted to combine them into one new unique subject so we created Astro Vinyl Art because what better way to combine art and music than with a vinyl record. We are now going into our eighth year of the company. We started with classic rock and other 80s groups since that was when the vinyl really skyrocketed in the music industry but our love for music is beyond that. What we do is we become inspired by an artist and put their music on and then create designs inspired by the music. After we create the design we use the special machine that we created to then carefully carve the design out of the vinyl. We then add a center label and a unique background that we think makes the design more creative into a frame that they can be hung on a wall as wall art.
