Artist Statement

My journey in glass fusing spans over two decades, fueled by a profound passion for the transformative power of kiln work. Since 2020, I have immersed myself deeply in my art, exploring vibrant shades of reds, oranges, and yellows, which infuse my pieces with warmth and emotional depth. This exploration has not only broadened my color palette but also deepened my artistic narrative.
I often create wall pieces that evoke intricate fabric designs. The careful framing of these works elevates their presentation, transforming each piece into a striking visual story, ready to enhance any space.
A hallmark of my creations is the interplay of transparent and opalescent glass. This combination allows me to manipulate light in ways that enrich the viewer's experience, creating an ethereal effect as light filters through the glass.
