Artist Statement

This quote describes perfectly, for me, the act of creating art. I observe the beauty of our world, and endeavor to use it to create a new interpretation that incorporates my reaction to our circumstances.
I am very interested in the dance that occurs between the conscious and subconscious mind during the act of creation. While I’m painting I try and leave a space, or create an opportunity for my subconscious to appear
