Artist Statement

Having a degree in both Fine Arts and Architecture from Rice University, now quite in the past, I have often pursued drawing, pastels, lithography, Chinese Brush and in these last many years, watercolors.
My interest has mainly been in natural subjects and landscapes. The subtleness both Asian 'Sumi' brushwork and the fine colors of the Hudson River School Painters have inspired me.
I am a member of the Garden State Watercolor Society.
