Artist Statement

I’m a fine art digital photographer and artist and I seek to fulfill my mission to "celebrate the extraordinary and sublime moment” by blending my passion for nature and wildlife photography with my artistic vision.

I find my inspiration in divine transient moments such as can be discovered in natural events like stormy weather, astronomical phenomena or in the flight pattern of birds.

As a traditional turned digital artist I have an eye for composition and bring a “painterly” feel to my work. I see my camera as an extension of my heart and the first step in an artistic flow that also includes weaving into the RAW image(s) my emotional experience through post process editing.

Using my original digital photos/art I produce prints myself up to 13”x19” size & offer larger sizes (up to 48”x96”) produced under my direction in various media. I take great pride in all my work which I meticulously track, hand sign and number in limited editions of up to 200.
