Artist Statement

My hands touch the clay with intention, but not a concrete result. I let my senses flow through my hands and have a free sense of creating. Wanting to always keep my mind open, to whatever form is coming to fruition. I make every sculpture myself and go into a peaceful meditative state when my hands are sculpting clay. Once it is bisque fired, I love to play with different firing options. I mix and paint every glaze onto each piece. To fire low temperature if I'm using natural materials, or a higher temperature of cone 5-6. Painting gold luster to enhance jewel tones. Every item is created with love and is truly one of a kind. I hope to bring my sculpture series to as many public and private places.
