Artist Statement

I am a painter, a printmaker, a graphic designer and a photographer. My art is generally representational in nature, reflecting the natural world as I see it, and often informed by my photographs. My painting medium of choice is primarily traditional transparent watercolor, with other water-based mediums such as gouache and acrylic and occasionally oils. My prints are typically drypoint etchings or monotypes.
