Artist Statement

I live in the Pacific Northwest which inspires a lot of my pastel paintings which are in the modern impressionist style. As a second career self-taught emerging artist my themes are often the glory and the peacefulness of the landscape but I also paint the occasional still life and floral. I have showed my work in 3 regional juried shows this year.
