Artist Statement
Random objects or images have always been a staple in my artistic tool set. Picking up something that most people overlook and then really looking at it to figure out a way to meaningfully incorporate into a piece of art is a fascinating process. Or using a gathering of miscellaneous objects and gleaning a story out of their relationship to each other is another approach that sometimes has unexpected but satisfying results.
