Artist Statement

Our hand made pottery is crafted from high fire stoneware clay and decorated with studio mixed glazes. We use a variety of techniques including wheel work and hand building with slabs and extruded pieces. The work is embossed with hand carved clay stamps that we make in the studio. Our original designs are hand painted using wax resist. Ceramic wall pieces are made of interlocking tiles mounted on birch plywood and framed in maple hardwood or metal.
