Artist Statement

ARTIST STATEMENT: MICK GROCHOWSKI

This proposal for the 2025 Norfolk Arts Off-Site Gallery Exhibit, for the timeframe of May 1 – June 19. (other timeframe would be suitable, if need be)
The proposed exhibit, entitled 'Places We Remember' would be a group exhibit of 3 - 4 Local Plein Air artists, that have travelled to places, far and wide, and have committed travel memories into works of plein air art.

The artists exhibiting will be as follows:

Mick Grochowski, of Norfolk VA, showing artwork painted in Europe, Western and Mid-west USA.

Barbara Harris, Suffolk, VA. Exhibiting work from Europe.

Gina Buzby, Norfolk VA. Exhibiting work from the U.S, outside Virginia.
