Artist Statement

Photography has been a part of my life almost as far back as I can remember . when i was a child i was fascinated with the old family photos at my grandmothers house. i loved the magical quality of photography its abitlity to freeze time and preserve the past. i am continually trying to record and preserve my own expierences of the world through my work. my own photographic work has complimented my other occupation as an art historian allowing me to record my own vision of the art and architecture which i study.
