Artist Statement

Living on the coast is so special. Everyday presents a new canvas. The most powerful images have you see the energy and turmoil at the same time as the serenity and tranquility. This paradox expresses the seas' incongruities and my attempt to reconcile these seemingly opposing concepts is what gives my work its depth and meaning.
