Artist Statement

PORTALS

As an abstract photographer, my passion is transforming imagery of modern urban architecture and Nature into unusual geometric shapes, forms, and stunning designs.

When I think of Portals, images of an entry point to another time, space and dimension come to mind. Architecture can transport the viewer into an other worldy environment.

These architectural abstract photos are a view into portals leading to adventure in other worlds. Through the visual interplay of light, space, movement, and dimension these photos expose a fluidity of patterns and sequences revealing a unique visual perspective.

My desire is to engage the viewer to explore alternative visual impressions creating moments of inquisitive wonder.
