Alison Sweeney

Artist Statement

I do all my own design, fabrication, and engraving by hand. Working in silver, pewter, copper, semi-precious stones, and antique Czech glass pieces from the 1920's and 30's. I strive for a vintage look with contemporary wearability. Most of my inspiration comes from traveling. I may be inspired by a 1000 year old mosque in Turkey, or an Art Nouveau building in Prague, or a silver temple in Chiang Mai. I strive to create new heirlooms that carry forward the legacy of hand-crafted workmanship.
