YoloArts is pleased to announce the 14th annual Art Farm Gala in October.

This year, the artwork will be displayed at The Barn Gallery and the Art Farm Gala will be held outdoors at the Gibson House & Property in Woodland. Guests can attend in person or enjoy virtually from the comfort of their living room where they can watch the Art Harvest and bid on the silent auction.

YoloArts invites Northern California artists to participate in the 14th annual Art Farm Gala (juried and non-juried art) with awards totaling $1,200.
This event is our annual fundraiser for the Art & Ag Project and partners. The Art & Ag Project connects artists with Yolo county farmers through a monthly artist-to-farm visit program and provides the community a unique glimpse into the worlds of artistic expression and agriculture.

Proceeds from Art Farm will benefit the YoloArts Art & Ag Project, The Yolo Land Trust and Yolo Farm to Fork.

SEPTEMBER 9: Art Farm Exhibition Opening at The Barn Gallery, 5:30-8pm Juried Prizes announced

OCTOBER 16- Art Farm Gala is the culmination of this year's Art & Ag Project. This event will take place at the Gibson House property and can be watched from home.

Art Harvest entries (non-juried) will be sold for a preset price of $250.
Juried artwork will be part of a remote silent auction. (See Rules of Entry for Silent Auction pricing.)

Proceeds from Art Farm will benefit YoloArts Art & Ag Project, The Yolo Land Trust and Yolo Farm to Fork.

Entry Fee: $10.00 TOTAL (for one or two entries) paid online, or by check

Eligibility: Open to all artists 18 or older and resident of Northern California.

RULES OF ENTRY
1. Artists may submit ONE work of art to the Art Harvest (non-juried) Only 80 total works will be accepted.
2. Juried Exhibition (optional): Artists are required to submit a work of art to the Art Harvest (non-juried) before they can submit ONE work of art to the Juried Exhibition.
3. TOTAL Art Farm entry fee is $10. Entry fee covers 1 (Art Harvest) or 2 (Art Harvest and Juried) works of art.
4. Jury selection will be based on the review of the original artwork which must be hand delivered on Aug 23, 24 or 25 to The Barn Gallery - 512 Gibson Road, Woodland between 9am - 5pm. NO DROP OFFS the week of Aug 16-20.
5. THEME: All artwork must be original and may be inspired by: the farms and farmlands; open spaces; food, bounty; agriculture; farming families, producers, workers; agricultural heritage of Yolo County, CA.
6. MEDIA: Oil, acrylic, watercolor, photography, mixed media, printmaking, ceramic, mosaic, fabric art. A variety of media and styles encouraged to enter.
7. Artwork must have been created in the last three years; not been shown in a previous Art Farm Exhibition.
8. When identifying artwork, include farm location (if applicable).

9. All 2D artwork must be securely WIRED AND READY TO HANG. (No sawtooth hangers, fishing line or string). Frames must be clean, sturdy and compliment the artwork. Archival tape only. Free standing 3D artwork will be installed on pedestals.
10. Submitted artwork may be no smaller than 8'x10' (framed) and no larger than 24' x 30' (framed).
11. All Artwork must be labelled on the back with artist name, title, media, dimensions, date. You can also add your business card, or short bio and description of the work (Juried work must also state retail value).
12. Art Harvest entries will be sold for a preset price of $250.(See Rule 14 for artist compensation)
13. Juried Exhibition artwork will be sold in an online silent auction with opening bids starting at 1/3 of the retail value or an amount agreed upon by the artist.(See Rule 14 for artist compensation.)
14. Artists have the option to receive 50% of proceeds or to donate 100% proceeds to the YoloArts Art & Ag Project on all artwork submitted.
14. No remaining artwork may be removed before the last day of the exhibition, Nov 13.
15.All artwork will be featured on YoloArts' website. Juried artwork is available for pre-sale at full retail value prior to Art Farm event.(See Rule 14 for artist compensation.)

2. STATEMENT SPECIFIC TO ENTRY: Include a few lines about yourself, your artistic process, and if you participate in the Art & Ag project.
3. PIECES FOR THIS ENTRY - Description: Indicate the farm name or location that the artwork was inspired by, (if applicable)

LIABILITY & PUBLICITY RELEASE
All artwork will be handled with the utmost care and protection, but YoloArts, its representatives or partners, will not be responsible for any loss or damage to any entry whatsoever the cause before, during or after the exhibit. Artists are encouraged to carry their own insurance. YoloArts reserves the right to photograph the work for publicity purposes.
IMAGE RELEASE
I, the artist, do consent and agree that YoloArts, its representatives or agents may take photographs or video recordings of my artwork entries upon receipt of this entry through November 13, 2021 and to use these images in any and all promotional media exclusively for the purpose of the Art Farm Opening Reception at Gallery 625 on September 9, 2021 and the Art Farm Gala on October 16, 2021 in connection with YoloArts' Art and Ag Project. I further consent that my name and identity may be revealed therein or by descriptive text or commentary.
I do hereby release YoloArts, its agents, and employees all rights to exhibit this artwork in print and electronic form publicly or privately for marketing purposes. I waive any rights, claims, or interest I may have to control the use of my identity or likeness in whatever media used.
I do grant YoloArts exclusive rights to use the image(s) of artwork for potential use in the following types of promotional merchandise: 'Art Farm Catalog', 'Art Farm Online Auction', 'Art Farm Postcards', 'Art Farm Notecards' for manufacture, distribution and/or sale by YoloArts.
I understand that there will be no financial compensation for publishing my artwork for Art Farm promotions and/or merchandise either initially or subsequently. YoloArts shall identify the artist as the creator of the image on all associated and licensed 'Art Farm' merchandise which shall include a copyright symbol.
All proceeds will benefit the Art and Ag Project, The Yolo Land Trust and Yolo Farm to Fork.
I represent that I am of legal consenting age, have read and understand the above mentioned statement, and agree to its contents.
