Women's Caucus for Art invites local DMV Women to participate in an in-person exhibit, Our Voices Carry Weight, Women's History Month 2023
Verbal descriptions and how they are spoken can guide the listener with a whisper, a loud voice, or a scream. As an artist, how does your art guide the viewer? What visual language have you adopted? Our Voices Carry Weight is an invitation to womenx artists from the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area to use their visual voice to highlight social wrongs, political topics, and pay homage to our literary, musical, and other female icons of yesterday and today.
