My Personal Best (WCADC Member Exhibition)

One of the primary commitments of the Women's Caucus for Art (WCADC) is to provide exhibition opportunities. WCADC and Friendship Gallery in Chevy Chase is pleased to announce an exhibit to showcase your Personal Best.

We each have work that we are extremely proud of and consider it our best. Perhaps you have a command of rendering in a realistic manner, or you have a vivid imagination, and your art expresses that imagination in a unique way. Maybe you excel in mixed media or handle abstracts like the masters, or your portraits truly capture the subject. This is an occasion to showcase your personal best in this WCADC all member show. Submit up to 3 works with a guarantee of 1 piece selected.

Key Dates:
Call for art deadline: May 30, 2023, 11:59pm

Art Drop off: July 23, 11 am
Exhibition dates: July 23 to August 20
Notifications: June 30
Art pickup: August 20, 11 am
Reception: Thursday, August 3, 6:30 - 8 pm

Work in previous WCA DC shows will not be eligible.

Fee for entry is $20 for up to 3 works. Each JPG/PNG image file must be named with the artist's first_lastname_title (example: Vincent_Vangogh_Starrynight.jpg). Image file should not be larger than 5MB and 1400Px wide. Images should be clear, good quality, and taken without frames or additional text added.


2D only with all mediums accepted, size dimensions must be less than 48 x 60 inches. 3D work will be considered if work can be hung.

Must be able to drop work off in person. No shipped work will be accepted.
