William Bailey, renowned painter and professor emeritus of Art at Yale will be the Juror for this show of painted two dimensional work. Top three winners will, in addition to the July 2015 group show, be invited to participate in a three person show in April 2016. Washington Art Association, founded in 1952, has a long history of showing high caliber exhibitions, with celebrated artists such as Alexander Calder, Andre Masson and Yves Tanguy participating in early shows.
