Call for entries: WATERCOLOR... An in person exhibition at Wallkill River Center for the Arts' historic Patchett House Galleries in Montgomery, NY.
This exhibit is open to the medium of watercolor. Medium is the only constraint; artwork can range from realism to pure abstraction and subject matter is open. This show does not encompass other water-based mediums such as acrylic and gouache, only traditional transparent watercolors. Mixed media is acceptable as long as watercolor is clearly a major component of the work.
Only handmade original works of art will be considered; NO digital, digital with hand manipulation, or AI generated images will be considered.
Juror: Betsy Jacaruso is an award-winning watercolorist and a long standing member of the Hudson Valley's art community. Widely exhibited throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond, she also curates exhibitions and teaches watercolor at her Rhinebeck gallery and studio.
Prizes: There is a $100 award to the best in show; honorable mentions will receive an artist level membership at WRCA.
