Eligibility and Overview
The exhibit is open to all current members of Vermont Watercolor Society. Member dues must be up to date. Submitted works must conform to the framing guidelines stated in the bylaws of the VWS. Framing details can be found on the VWS website under Member Resources.

Paintings submitted without proper hanging wire are subject to not being hung in the show.

The show will be juried and applies towards signature status.

Entry Guidelines and Deadlines:
Paid VWS members can submit up to 2 entries and one may be accepted. If space allows, more than one piece may be accepted. All work must be original and of the artist's own resource. Any work done under the supervision of an instructor or in a class/workshop will NOT be eligible for submission.
No work previously exhibited with the VWS may be submitted.
Work must be created with the acceptable water-soluble mediums per VWS guidelines.

Minimum size acceptable is 9' x 12'. No maximum size limitation.

Submissions will be Digital Online ONLY through the Entry Thingy link on https://www.vtwatercolor.org/

A $25 entry fee for 1 or 2 entries.

Files must be JPEG only. Image should be only of artwork. No matting or frame included. Image size should be 2400 pixels on longest side but no more than 5mb file size. Entry fee must be paid with submission on EntryThingy.
All entries must be submitted online UNTIL 8/26/25. (NO EXTENSIONS POSSIBLE)
Accepted artists names will be posted on the VWS website after 9/08/25. No substitutions or changes of title or price will be allowed once accepted.

Publicity:
You will be asked to check a box giving permission for your image to be used for publicity purposes. Acceptance to the show grants the Vermont state curators of this exhibit permission to reproduce work for promotional purposes.

Insurance: Artists are responsible for insuring their own work.

Sales: All artwork MUST be for sale.
All sales will be handled directly by the artists. There is no commission charged. An email and phone number will be provided to potential customers.

Public Reception: 10/03/25, 4:30pm-7:00pm
Delivery Dates: 9/29/25 1pm - 4pm

Shipping Dates: Shipping instructions will be provided to accepted artists. ALL SHIPPED WORK MUST INCLUDE A PREPAID RETURN SHIPPING LABEL.

Pick Up Date: 12/29/25 1pm-4pm
