Call for Artists and Art Organizations Worldwide
2026 VISUREAL·International Image Art Festival (VIIAF), Chengdu, China.
The 2026 VISUREAL·International Image Art Festival (VIIAF) invites submissions from artists and art organizations worldwide. As an international platform dedicated to image-based art, VIIAF integrates artistic practice with research-driven curatorial inquiry, fostering creative and scholarly exchange.
VIIAF 2026 welcomes a wide range of image-based works, including photography, video art, short films, animation, interactive media, AI-generated imagery, and AR/VR installations. The festival will be held in Chengdu, China, presenting archival image materials, contemporary visual practices, and experimental projects using emerging technologies.
By treating image as an open visual language, VIIAF re-examines the cultural significance of the Silk Road and explores its relevance to contemporary art and society. Participants engage not only as creators but also as researchers and cultural observers, contributing to ongoing dialogue on image, history, and culture.
Submission Deadline: May 1, 2026.
