The annual Members' Exhibit is one of the most anticipated and popular events at Viewpoint Photographic Art Center. For members, the annual show provides an opportunity to present recent work which reflects their current creative interests. Viewpoint has the honor of presenting outstanding photographers who utilize a variety of print media for appreciative viewers. The month-long July exhibit poses the challenge of not only highlighting individual talent but also transforming diverse art works into an exciting collection.

Members are invited to submit ONE photograph for display. New work that has not been previously shown at Viewpoint Photographic Art Center or other local galleries is preferred. Submissions are not restricted to a particular theme or form of photography. The exhibit will be in both the Main and Step-Up galleries BUT only the first 100 registered entries will be accepted. In the past, registration for the exhibit has closed earlier than the announced closing date because the quota of 100 had been reached. Register your entry sooner rather than later!

ENTRY REGISTRATION
Register your print entry from May 15-June 8, 2026. Upload a thumbnail size file of your entry to EntryThingy through the Viewpoint website www.viewpointphotoartcenter.org under Exhibits-Call for Entries. Specifics on the thumbnail size and format are listed below. The nonrefundable entry fee is $25.00 is due with the registration payable on EntryThingy. A successful registration on EntryThingy signifies your acceptance into the Members' Exhibit 2026.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR ENTRYTHINGY REGISTRATION
1. Download the Prospectus; it will not be available online after the Registration Period.
2. BEFORE going online to register your print entry, select and prepare the thumbnail file to these specifications :
a. Color space: sRGB (best for screen viewing online).
b. Image thumbnail size in pixels: 1024 pixels on longer side dimension and 72 ppi. 2 MB.
c. File type: jpeg format
d. JPEG Image Quality: High (for example, 9)
e. File Name: Image title WITH your name. For example: rodriguez_duneshadow.jpg
f. Piece Description: Add the location, subject matter, or any other information that brings the image to life.
3. BEGIN the print registration through the Viewpoint website Exhibits>Call for Entries using EntryThingy. Log in, or create an account if necessary.
4. Upload your jpeg thumbnail size file to EntryThingy. This file is used for Viewpoint’s online gallery and sales.
5. Include information about the piece in the database fields on the EntryThingy webpage:
a. Title of the piece for the gallery label. Do NOT include your name.
b. Medium/Material: Photographic medium of the print, (e.g. Inkjet, Cyanotype, Gelatin Silver). Basic material choices are on the Print Information Sheet.
c. Price: Purchase price unless the print is Not for Sale (NFS). An $80 minimum Purchase Price is recommended.
d. Piece Description: Location, process, subject matter, or other information.
e. Dimensions: Enter the overall size of your entry in inches, using decimals to represent fractions of an inch.
Mats that are fractions of an inch are not standard. You will need to furnish the acrylic covering. The width of the entry should be listed first, as shown below.
i. Horizontal entry would be listed as: 20 x 16.
ii. Vertical entry would be listed as: 16 x 20.
f. Dimensions of the image listed Width by Height. Use decimals for fractions of an inch as 12.25 or 17.75, for example.
g. Number of Prints Available for Purchase: List from 1- 4, including the exhibited print.
6. The entry fee must be paid at the time your entry registration is completed in EntryThingy. The entry fee is non-refundable.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR PRINTS IN THE MEMBERS’ EXHIBIT
1. The maximum size for a print is 22 x 28 inches or 20 x 20 square. For a print not submitted in a traditional gallery mat (for example, a print on aluminum or canvas), the maximum overall size is 22 x 28 inches.
2. Viewpoint will provide acrylic glazing for matted prints in the following sizes: 8 x 10, 9 x 12, 11 x 14,
16 x 20, 18 x 24, 22 x 28 and 20 x 20. If you use a different size mat, you must provide acrylic glazing of the same size at the time of print delivery. Your acrylic will be returned to you when the exhibit ends. Be sure to check Y for “Artist’s Acrylic” on the Print Information Sheet.
3. Viewpoint encourages you to make your print available for purchase. Please request a minimum $80.00 sale price. However, you may choose to list your print as NFS, Not For Sale.
4. NO framed work will be exhibited. Do NOT frame your print.
5. Art work should meet professional print presentation standards using archival materials and methods.
a. Traditional Gallery Mat: A white over mat is traditional and strongly urged. Hinge the mat and backing board with archival tape and mount the print on the backing board with corners, tape, or dry-mount tissue.
b. Alternative media prints, such as images printed on aluminum or canvas are acceptable. Float hangers are required for metal prints
6. Label the reverse side of the print with your name and title of image. Place the matted print or alternative medium in a sleeve or appropriate protective material. Do not seal the sleeve. Include the completed Print Identification Sheet (last page of the Prospectus) inside the protective sleeve.

PRINT DELIVERY TO VIEWPOINT
After registering your submission on EntryThingy, deliver your print to Viewpoint from June 10 to June 20, 2026 during gallery hours. If you are unable to deliver your print during the submission period, you have two other options described below.

Include a prepaid shipping label for shipment back to you in case your image is not sold. After shipping your image to the above address, please inform the Curators of the print’s expected delivery date by emailing [email protected] Subject: Members Exhibit 2026.

2. You can have your image printed and matted through Viewpoint’s Printing Program. The full details of this opportunity are explained in the Prospectus. Refer to Addendum 1 of this Prospectus for complete information. on service .

Please review the following Contractual Specifications carefully.

a. All entrants to the Members' Exhibit 2026 must be current members of Viewpoint Photographic Art Center or new members enrolled prior to the submission of any work. New members or members with outstanding dues are encouraged to pay membership fees online at the Viewpoint website prior to their print submission.
b. You must be the creator and owner of the copyright for the image you submit. You will retain all rights to your image but you are permitting Viewpoint Photographic Art Center to display the image on its website and use it to publicize and promote the Members' Exhibit, 2026 for no extra fees or royalties. Publicity may include, but is not limited to, publication in any printed materials, advertisements, catalogs, and electronic media, including Viewpoint's website.
c. Artwork submitted to the Members' Exhibit 2026 must be created by the person entering the photographic image/artwork and the artist shall be responsible for all appropriate permission(s) for the use of the image submitted.
d. Final acceptance of entries in the Members Exhibit 2026 is at the Curatorial Committees discretion after viewing the delivered prints. If a print does not match the appearance of the submitted image file, or if the print quality or presentation is not suitable for exhibition, Viewpoint may request a correction or may decline to exhibit the print.
e. For prints that sell, Viewpoint will split the Sale Price with the artist, with 50% to the artist and 50% to Viewpoint Photographic Art Center. Checks for the artists portion will be mailed 30 days after the close of the exhibit.
f. Any disputes over an image will result in the image being removed immediately from the gallery.
g. As the artist, you are solely responsible for the cost, care, protection, and insurance of your artwork during shipment to and from the Viewpoint. Artwork or accessory submitted for this show will be treated with the utmost care, but Viewpoints responsibility and liability arising from or connected with damage, loss, theft, or any other cause whatsoever is limited to the artists commission (50%) of the Sale Price of the work submitted.
h. Multiple copies of images/artwork will be sold by Viewpoint only if the artist agrees to deliver finished prints to the gallery within two weeks of the exhibits conclusion, at which time the gallery will fulfill the orders.
i. Exhibit prints must be picked up between August 5 and September 12, 2026 (unless shipping has been arranged). Any work exhibited in the Members' Exhibit 2026 that is not retrieved by October 3, 2026 becomes the property of Viewpoint Photographic Art Center.
j. Upon registering and submitting your image, you are declaring that your submission meets Viewpoint's guidelines and that you are agreeing to these terms.
