OPEN CALL FOR MEMBER ENTRIES
Each year Viewpoint Photographic Art Center celebrates the outstanding artistic talents and creativity of its members by hosting the annual Members' Exhibit. This year's event will hopefully signal a resumption of many member activities. With the absence of Print Night, Portfolio Night, Member Receptions and in person workshops due to pandemic protocols, members have had few opportunities to share creative efforts and ideas.

Viewpoint members are invited to submit one of their photographs for display. New work that has not been displayed previously at Viewpoint or other galleries is preferred. Submissions are not limited to a particular theme or form of photography. The exhibit will showcase the wide variety of photographic interests among the members.
All entrants to the 2021 Members' Exhibit must be current members of Viewpoint Photographic Art Center or new members enrolled prior to the submission of any work. New members or members with outstanding dues are encouraged to pay membership fees online at the Viewpoint website prior to their print submission.
Exhibition display space in the Main and Step Up galleries is limited, therefore, only the first 100 entries that meet the submission criteria will be accepted. A member may be placed on a waiting list for entries submitted after the maximum number of photographs and entry forms have been accepted.

Entering the 2021 Members' Exhibit is a two-step process.
(1) Register your photographic entry online from May 24 to June 19, 2021 using this link to EntryThingy found on the Viewpoint website under Call for Entries. The entry fee for the Members' Exhibit is $25. The fee is due with the registration on EntryThingy. A thumbnail image of the print is also required at the time of the entry registration.
(2) After registering your submission on EntryThingy, take or ship your print to Viewpoint during the print submission period. The submission period for prints for the Members' Exhibit, 2021 is from Thursday, May 27 to Saturday, June 19, 2021 during gallery hours. If you are unable to deliver your print to the Viewpoint, ship it to David Wong, 13580 N. Meadow View Drive, Grass Valley, California 95945 during the submission period. Please include return shipping.

EXHIBIT DETAILS: The 2021 Members' Exhibit will run from July 6 through August 7, 2021. Due to the prevailing local pandemic protocols for businesses and public gatherings, Viewpoint Photographic Art Center hours are currently limited. Check the website for current hours of operation. We will provide updates and details regarding an Artists Reception as we draw closer to the opening date. Please review the Submission Specifications and Contractual issue section. The specifications ensure sufficient space to hang accepted artwork and to ensure a high level of presentation of all artwork.
